The evaluation physical fitness on education able mental retarded, private class and inclusion students

In this study, it?s aimed to evaluate physical fitness levels of education able mental retarded, inclusion and private class students. In this was also made healthy students who are same aged for making comparison. The study was aplied to the students who aged 10-17 and educating in Eskisehir in 2005-2006. There was participated on study 34 private class students (21 male- 13 female), 35 inclusion students (22 male -12 female), 32 training practical school students (20 male -12 female) and 40 healthy students (18 male -22 female). Physical fitness tests are applied to these students to evaluate their level of physical fitness. The tests are; BMI, 20 M Pacer T, 16 M Pacer, skinfold, dominant grip, sit and reach, modified curl up, push up, modified apley test. We also made jumping and balance tests and the results compared with literature. The result of study is the level of physical fitness on inclusion students? found higher than training practical school students and private class students? level. If the mental retarded students are educated with the peer healthy students in the same class (as inclusion education), It is thought that the level of their physical fitness will be progressed.
