This study aims to investigate the levels of burnout and depression levels of the education employees. In addition to this, it also aims to examine the connections with socio-demographical data.Maslach Burnout Inventory, Beck Depression Scale and socio-demographic information forms have been used to collect data as the means of research. The samples of this study consist of 225 people who have been chosen randomly and who have been working as educators in İstanbul; Avcılar, Beyoğlu and Kağıthane districts (both in state schools and private schools).According to the results; differences in the levels of depression and burnout levels have been found by means of the socio-demographical data. Furthermore, it has been found that, as the levels of depression increase, the levels of emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation and burnout also increase.
