11 A STUDY ON THE LESSON PROGRAM OF TEACHING MUSIC IN THE SCIENCE OF CLASSROOM TEACHING CONSIDING IDEA OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER TRAINING STUDENTS AT THE FACULTIES OF EDUCATION Süleyman Cem ŞAKTANLI SUMMARY The aim of the study is to evaluate the program elements and applications of music teaching class in the science of classroom teaching at the primary school teacher training departments at faculties of education in Turkish universities. In this context, the study is remarkable in terms of suggesting new approaches towards producing more effective applications and programs in music teaching classes. The sample of the study consists of a hundred students studying at classrom teaching departments randomly chosen from three different universities. The students were asked to answer the questions in the survey questionnaires prepeared and proof- checked by the researcher himself. The data were then collected and analyzed according to the statistical approaches within the context of the developed evaluation model. The findings obtained were also shown in tables and then interpreted accordingly. In the light of the results of the study, new suggestions are presented regarding the program elements and applications of the music teaching class in training class teachers.
