Abstract (EN)
This research was conducted to explain the relationship between organizational conflict management, organizational silence and organizational citizenship behavior in educational institutions. The answers to the following sub-problems were sought. Within the scope of this research designed in the relational model; According to teachers' opinions, the relationship between the levels of Conflict Management, Organizational Silence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Educational Institutions was examined. The population of the study is the teachers working in kindergartens, primary, secondary and high schools in the city center of Uşak in the 2022-2023 academic year. The sample of the study consists of teachers working in schools selected by easily accessible sampling method from the study universe. The Organizational Conflict Management Styles scale, which is frequently used in the field to collect data in the research, with high scope, appearance and structure validity, and whose reliability has been statistically proven, was originally developed by M. Afzalur Rahim and adapted to Turkish by Ali İlker GÜMÜŞELİ, the "Organizational Silence Scale" developed by Kahveci (2010) and the "Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale" developed by Yücel & Belenkuyu (2017) were used. Validity and reliability tests, descriptive statistics, tests of variance, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were used in the analysis of the data. When the results of the regression analysis are examined, it is seen that the "domination" style, which is one of the conflict management styles, and the "school environment, the source of silence and the manager" sub-dimensions, which are among the organizational silence dimensions, are negative predictors of organizational citizenship behavior. In the light of the results, it may be recommended that school administrators try to use their integrative and conciliatory styles as much as possible from conflict management styles, receive training to improve these skills, and conduct research to find the factors that lead to organizational silence by examining the situations that lead to organizational silence in educational institutions in depth.
