Abstract (EN)

Fast changes in technology and human attitude influence not only corporations, but alsoeducational institutions. Student profiling, the most important factor in education, isinfluenced and changed by the social environment. Teaching methods and technologydetermine the teacher profile, which is another important key component in education.As educational methods are changing very fast, even newly- graduated teachers have someproblems.Getting used to innovations in social life brings about resistance to change which is in humannature already. Scientists have been doing research on the adaptation of laborers to theseinnovations in every field.In this research, the aim is to evaluate teachers? attitude towards changes in educationalinstitutions. The questionnaires ?Attitudes Towards Changes? and ?DemographicalInformation? are given to teachers in Üsküdar and Ümraniye, and so their attitudes to changesare evaluated according to certain variables like age, education, job experience and in-servicetraining.This research will attempt to conclude which of the mentioned variables determine teachers?attitudes to change.
