Abstract (EN)
Ecofeminist literary criticism, which emerged with feminism, environmentalist theories and ecofeminism taking its place in literature, has been formed with the manifestations of all groups that are dominated, especially women and the environment, in literature. In other respect, ecofeminist literature has made social issues such as armament and anti-war and the use of chemical weapons, which were important both in the 70s when they emerged and still have an important place today, visible through the literary window. Ecofeminism has opposed various forms of exploitation by gathering under its umbrella a wide range of people such as women, nature, animals, individuals with different sexual orientations and black people, who are considered inferior in the patriarchal social structure; thus, it has made all living things and the ecosystem, which are victims of the human desire to dominate, its subject. Thanks to ecofeminist literary criticism, all forms of marginalization and domination that are still unresolved and have been going on for centuries have taken their place in literary works and become objects of criticism. In line with this purpose, this study aims to make a comprehensive definition of ecofeminism, and within the framework of ecofeminist literary criticism, to analyze Ursula K. Le Guin's (1953-2018) Dünyaaya Orman Denir (1972) and Hakan Bıçakçı's (1978-...) Doğa Tarihi (2014) and to identify ecofeminist findings in these works with themes such as the destruction of women and nature, the exploitation of the female body, and the separation of human beings from nature and thus from their essence.
