Abstract (EN)
Although it is commonly assumed that voters shift on an ideological spectrum over time, there has been relatively little scientific inguiry into the reasons for shifts in voter ideology. In this study; we attempt to explain why voter ideological shifts occur utilizing an interval measure of voter ideology developed by Kim and Fording (1998). İn this respect, Bounds Testing Analysis of Turkey for the period of 1950-2003 identifies several economic factors causing shifts in voter ideologyThe study consist of two main part in the fist part of study we begin with a disscusion of politics and economics. And Public Choice Theory evaluate into the economic approaches to politics.
