Abstract (EN)

Layered composites with a wide range of applications in industry materials are subjected to repetitive loads in the systems in which they are used. can remain. For this reason, the resistance of materials against repetitive loads to know is very important in terms of strength. Elements subjected to these repetitive loads with a damage defined as fatigue after a certain number of cycles they are faced with. To determine this situation, materials are subjected to fatigue are tested in test equipment. In this study, the design and fabrication of a fatigue testing machine fatigue behavior of layered composite materials by performing experimentally investigated. For the experiments, glass fiber reinforcement material and specimens of different thickness and number of layers using epoxy resin produced. The samples were produced by hand lay-up method was realized. First of all, the tensile properties of the layered composites produced strengths were determined and then the specimens were subjected to fatigue test were kept. In the experiments, stress values at different number of cycles were read The experiment was finalized at the number of cycles in which the damage occurred, and these values presented in graphs and tables. As a result of the experiments, different layer number and tensile maximum cycle that can be safely operated for composites with strength numbers were determined. According to this, two-layer composite, four-layer tensile strengths, maximum cycle number values compared to the composite, hence their working life is directly proportional to the number of layers.
