Investigation of prevalance of foot diseases in the cattle in the region of Elazig and adiyaman

In this study was aimed to investigate the prevalence of foot diseases in cattle in region of Adıyaman and Elazig. A total of 6000 different ages and sexes, including 5000 in Adiyaman region and 1000 in Elazig region, were investigated for cattle foot disease and claw deformation. During the examinations in the Adiyaman region, only 188 feet had claw deformity, 110 had only foot disease, and 164 had claw deformity and foot disease. In the Elazig region, only 42 feet had claw deformity, 20 had only foot disease, and 38 had claw deformity and foot disease. As a result, the prevalence of foot diseases in cattle region of Adıyaman was determined as % 9,24 and the region of Elazig was determined as %10.
