Abstract (EN)
In our worked named Food Industry in Elazığ, we tried to examine the importance of the end product within the process of production to introduction to the market by starting from the raw material that constitutes the basis of the food industry, and also we tried to examine the phases that comes up during the process of the end product?s being introduced to the market. Under the light of this purpose we evaluated the importance and effects of the factors like capital, work force and energy that are related to the production process within the industry process.An important percent of our country?s population works in the field of agriculture which provides raw material for food industry. Positives effects that would happen in food industry may also affect the farm sector in the same positive way.When food production facilities in Elazığ are examined, slaughterhouse and beverage sector is seen to be more important than other sectors. In this research paper the distribution of slaughterhouses, milk and milk productions, flour and flour productions, sugar and sugar related productions, provender and beverage production plants, their improvements,and also their problems are tried to be established, and are tried to be solved.Key Words: Elazığ city, Food industry, raw material, market and worker
