Abstract (EN)

For the electrochemical analysis of 4-nitropehenol (4-NP), a novel electrochemical sensor depending on carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotube-carboxylated graphene oxide-coated glassy carbon electrode (f-MWCNTs/f-GO/GCE) was achieved. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and Raman spectroscopy were used to characterize the sensor. Amperometry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and cyclic voltammetry (CV) were used in the electrochemical investigations. According to the results, it was demonstrated that f-MWCNTs/f-GO/GCE could be used for a rapid, sensitive, and selective determination of 4-NP in the presence of electroactive compounds such as ascorbic acid, glucose, and bisphenol A. With three linear detection ranges ranging from 0.018 to 700 µM, the sensor demonstrated a good response to the determination of 4-NP under optimum conditions. The sensor displayed 5.4 nM of limit of detection (LOD). Additionally, the manufactured sensor was employed to detect 4-NP in various water samples.
