Abstract (EN)
This thesis aim is to describe the developments in electronic payment systems. For this purpose, keywords, such as e-payment, e-commerce, are defined. In addition, online payment systems in public sector are investigated. This paper observes the EPS with costumer behaviors and financial knowledge. Electronic payment systems are widely used both for individuals and for public sector. Türkiye, has shown a trend lately for the digital payment systems with the governments new application called FAST. Another development is the integration of smart card to the most crowded city of Türkiye under the name of BELBİM company. The thesis purpose is to find a connection for Türkiye GDP and development with the new technological payments.
