Investigation of a health facility by electricity energy quality maintenance

Harmonics in determining the quality of energy in electrical power systems and installations are important. These harmonics which cause adverse effects must be eliminated. Passive power filters are widely used to eliminate or limit the effects of harmonics in electrical installations or operations. In this study, the Duzce University Research and Application Hospital which is an important institution was taken up. As a result of the harmonic analysis, the plant is modeled in MATLAB / Simulink by moving to the computer environment. As a result of simulation, a passive filter was designed and the destructive effects were eliminated. When the analysis results obtained from the designs are examined, it is observed that the harmonic limits are within the The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) standards.
