Abstract (EN)
In this study, load frequency control, which can be used in small diameter hydroelectric power plants with power values up to 100 kW, is considered. A system is designed for frequency control purposes for small-scale power plants which can be built on rivers with low volume located in villages and hamlets. In the study, the PID and Fuzzy control techniques for the electronic load frequency controller are modeled separately with the Matlab program and the responses of the designed system to the possible situations are investigated. Simulation results are obtained uncontrolled, PID and Fuzzy controlled. Experiments and the results have shown that fuzzy control is more effective.
