Nowadays, a wide range of energy production systems have been introduced along with the technological developments, high expectations of energy consumers and the intense competition in the energy market. Emerging developments on smart grids and significant importance of energy efficiency have brought acceleration to the developments of distributed generation systems. Electric vehicles offer various contributions and opportunities to the electricity market with their two-way energy flow capabilities.
