Implementation of an electronic card based car park automation sytem

With the increasing number of the transportation vehicles on land, we are face to face a problem of parking cars easier and more practical. The aim of this study is; to check the movements of the vehicles inside the car parks easly, regularly and in a safe way. In this application; the electronic cards, which are given to the owners of the vehicles, should be held to the readers by the drivers from a distance of 5-10 cm, placed entrance and exit points of the car parks, so the entrance and exit permission is given to the cars by this system. The information, which comes from the electronic card readers, is transferred to a computer by series or USB port, and then it is operated by interface programme written by Visual Basic, so this information can be saved in a recallable form.
