Abstract (EN)
In this project, pressure vessel applications were studied. The suitable material for the system was selected using the Ashby Method for pressure vessel. The best design that can be produced is determined using the mathematical model and the finite element method. For the carbon fiber reinforced composites selected as the material in the mathematical model, the fiber winding angle was defined parametrically and the best system design was created by using the genetic algorithm method. Here, the effect of the number of layers on the stress distribution is questioned. The same operations were transferred to the computer environment and analyzed by numerical analysis programs in order to verify the calculations. Firstly, 3D model of design was created and then the necessary operations were done with composite and structural modules. In the analyzes, same values were determined parametrically and as a result, mathematical modeling and FEM solution were verified. The literature studies were examined and the validation was made by comparing the experimental studies, analytical and numerical solutions made in the thesis. When the results are examined, it is seen how the strength at the best angle value provides maximum performance and how the number of layers affects the system strength.
