Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in 2010 to determine the quality of groundwater by some physicochemical, inorganic and microbiological observations made in water samples taken from 10 stations in the vicinity of Kütahya Emet and we think will best represent the region. The data obtained were statistically evaluated using the SPSS 11.5 package program as drinking water and irrigation water. The results of the analysis are given with tables and graphs. As a result, water samples taken at stations were evaluated according to the criteria set in the Water Pollution Control Regulation Technical Procedures Notification and theese have been identified that is available quality as irrigation water. Water samples were evaluated according to the criteria of TSE (Turkish Standards Institute), WHO (World Health Organization) and EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) in order to use the water as drinking water and theese have been determined that is not appropriate to use as drinking water.Keywords: Emet, ICP-OES, water quality, groundwater.
