Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to reach healthy information about the relationship of the Umayyads who can be described as a turning point in the history of Islam, about the relationship, cause, course and results of the mosque. Because, in Islamic culture-civilization, many correct or wrong information and practices that have survived to the present day are the result of the relationship between the administration and the mosque during the Umayyad period. The correct determination of the cause and form of the relations of the government in this period with the mosque will probably allow the degree of accuracy of the fiqh, political, social and cultural information originating from this period to be determined. As a result of the research, mosques had a central importance in the social and political lives of Muslims during the Umayyad period as in the early periods, and scientific and cultural activities were carried out.
