Abstract (EN)
Eminler Höyük is located in Eminler Village of Karaman Province. It was collected in intensive surveys carried out between 2016-2019 and 2022. II. Ceramic samples dating back to the millennium BC were included in this study. The aim of the study is to reveal the development of the settlements of Eminler Höyük and Karaman Plain. In this context, intensive surveys were carried out at Eminler Höyük. Thanks to the methods applied in the research, the mound was not excavated in BC. III-II-I. The settlement density and distribution of the millennium BC were determined. The mound consists of 5 different elevations connected to each other. On and around the mound, 3D models and topographic maps with drone photographs were unearthed. Within this framework, the main subject of the thesis is BC. II. It is understood that the ceramics dating to the millennium BC are concentrated on the 1st and 2nd elevations of the mound. The ceramics included in the study were divided into groups according to their paste colors and form characteristics. Each pottery sample is examined separately in paste color, additives, firing conditions and types. II. It was examined to which periods in the millennium BC it was dated. While examining the types, comparisons were made with the settlements. As a result of the comparison, Eminler Höyük BC. II. Millennium BC Ceramics are dated to the Assyrian Trade Colonies Age and the Hittite Period. Although Eminler Höyük was not as large as the settlements nearby during the Assyrian Trade Colonies Age, it was understood that it was an important colony center in the Assyrian Trade Colonies Age, based on the similar ceramic tradition. During the Hittite period, the mound has been within the Hittites' territory since the establishment of the Hittites. Eminler Höyük is within the borders of the Hittites' Lower Country. Region II. Hittite culture became more dominant when Muwattali moved the capital here. Therefore, it is read through the ceramics that the development and transformation that started in the Assyrian Trade Colonies Age in Eminler Höyük continued until the end of the Hittite period.
