Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze a variety of factors that affect users' behavioral intention and actual usage of enterprise resource planning implementation based on the technology acceptance model. In the proposed model, external variables are identified as top management support, consultant support, computer self-efficacy, subjective norm, compatibility and user guidance. Data was collected in April 2018 from end-users who are using SAP application in companies through online survey. The structural equation modeling methodology was implemented to detect the determinants of behavioral intention and actual usage of enterprise resource planning systems. SmartPLS 3.2.7 software was used for the data analysis and testing. A total of 314 responses were obtained. Analytical results show that four external factors, consultant support, top management support, computer self-efficacy and compatibility, are significant determinants of perceived ease of use. Moreover, two external factors, user guidance and subjective norm are affecting perceived usefulness positively. Also, all external factors have a significant indirect effect on behavioral intention. In addition, mediation effect analysis was performed and four mediator variables were found. Computer self-efficacy mediates the relationship between top management support and perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use mediates the relationship between computer self-efficacy and perceived usefulness, perceived usefulness mediates the relationship between perceived ease of use and behavioral intention, behavioral intention mediates the relationship between perceived usefulness and actual usage.
