Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the characteristics and some features of Sūrah Anbiyā, to determine the messages that the prophet parables mentioned in Sūrah Anbiyā want to give, and at the same time to respond to the claim of the orientalists that the repetitions in the Qur'an are unnecessary and redundant by comparing the prophet parables in Sūrah Anbiyā with other repetitions in the Qur'an. This study, which we prepared under the title of "The Characteristics of Sūrah Anbiyā and the Comparative Analysis of Prophet Parables in the Context of Sūrah Anbiyā", consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, information about the importance, scope, purpose, method, and sources utilized are given. In the first chapter, information about the Qur'anic parables is explained without giving details. In the second chapter, the general features of the Sūrah Anbiyā are explained and a description of the Sūrah is tried to be made. In the third chapter, which is the last chapter, the parables of the prophets narrated in Sūrah Anbiyā are emphasized. In this section, the subject was introduced by giving information about the life of the relevant prophet whose story is told in Sūrah Anbiyā. Subsequently, as the first stage, the exegesis of the parable of the prophet narrated in Sūrah Anbiyā has been explained in detail. In the second stage, the context of the verses in which the prophet's parable is narrated is examined. As for the third stage, the similarities and differences between the parable of the prophet in Sūrah Anbiyā and its narrations in other suras have been analyzed. In the fourth stage, the principles to be drawn from the parable are mentioned and the messages that the parable wants to convey are highlighted. In the conclusion, explanations have been made about the importance of the messages given by Sūrah Anbiyā and the parables of the prophets and the repetition of these parables in the Qur'an as a proof of the Qur'an's i'jâz. It is possible to list the general content of the Sūrah Anbiyā as the negative attitudes of the disbelievers, the proofs of the oneness of Allah, the parables of the Prophets and the events to be experienced on the Day of Judgment. The prophets whose stories are narrated in the Anbiyâ sûra are Muhammad, Moses, Aaron, Abraham, Lot, Ya'qûb, Noah, David, Solomon, Ayyûb, Ismâil, Idrîs, Zülkifl, Yûnus, Zakariyyâ, Yahyâ, and Îsâ (Peace beupan them). Keywords: Sūrah, Anbiyā, Parable, Prophets, I'jāz, Morals.
