Abstract (EN)
In this study, a questionnaire titled "Knowledge Level of Chemical Substances Exposure to Daily Life and Rate of Use in Daily Life" and analysis were carried out with the SPSS program. There are more than 80 thousand endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC's) in foods and packaged products, cosmetics and personal care products, textile products, cleaning products and many more. These EDC's substances change the normal functioning of the endocrine system, and their negative effects on the individual or on the next generations occur in the long term. EDC substances that are exposed through oral, inhalation, skin contact, placenta and biological transfer from breast milk pose an important threat to future generations due to their public health and epigenetic effects. Insufficient level of knowledge and awareness about EDC substances causes unconscious consumption. In this context, with this survey study, it was aimed to determine the regional awareness of the society, especially against EDC substances. Based on the resulting data, the level of significance was accepted as 95%. When the results obtained from the study data are examined, it has been concluded that the lack of information is effective in exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals, however, products containing these substances can be consciously preferred because they are more affordable and faster to transport.
