Abstract (EN)

Endocrine disrupter compounds are important environmental pollutants for humans and other livings. In this study, bacterial degradation of E2, DHT and progesterone from endocrine disrupter compounds in two different concentration and minimal medium as sole carbon source was investigated.HPLC analyses of E2, DHT and progesterone taken periodically from medium was showed that these chemicals degradated by bacteria using biodegradation. In 96th, E2, DHT and progesterone were degradated 74.44%, 72.31 and 60, respectively. In hormonal activity tests, E2, DHT and progesterone activities were reduced 35.7%, 14.8 and 36.4 in 96th. Analysis of degradation products were realized with GC-MS. KOI and TOK values were decrease during biodegradation.As alternative to expensive and second pollution causing techniques, used for removal of endocrine disrupter from environment, using bacterial biodegradation processes can be effective.
