Measuring industry 4.0 perception with the technology acceptance model: A research on university students

Industry 4.0, which emerged as the innovation discourse for the high-tech manufacturing sector of Germany and created the sub-dimensions of technology in the rapidly changing world, has created a great discussion topic. In this study, it is aimed to determine the perception levels of the students of the faculty of economics and administrative sciences towards industry 4.0 technologies, even the technology acceptance model. For this purpose, 291 questionnaire forms were given to the students of business administration, economics, management information systems, international relations, international trade and logistics, political science and public administration who are studying in the faculty of economics and administrative sciences of Osmaniye Korkut Ata University. data has been obtained. Cronbach Alpha reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, regression analysis, t test and ANOVA analysis were performed on the data obtained from the questionnaire form and hypotheses were tested. As a result of the research; perceived ease of use over perceived usefulness. It has been determined that the ease of use has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use, the perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on the intention to use and the intention to use it. As a result, there is a positive perception towards Industry 4.0 technologies among the students of the faculty of economics and administrative sciences.
