Abstract (EN)
With the advent of Industry 4.0, humanity has entered a historically significant period of transformation, marked by the prominence of scientific knowledge production and technological advancement. This industrial revolution has introduced innovative solutions across various disciplines, rendering processes not only more efficient but also more accessible. This thesis aims to examine the impact of the industry 4.0 concept on productivity and quality in businesses through a bibliometric analysis approach and to reveal academic trends in related fields. Within the scope of the research, 72 scientific publications published between 2010 and 2024 were obtained from the Web of Science and Scopus databases. These publications were analyzed using VOSviewer, a widely utilized tool in bibliometric studies, based on indicators such as keyword frequency, conceptual linkages, distribution by publication year, geographical productivity, author collaborations, and source journals. The findings indicate that Industry 4.0 has been extensively studied, particularly in the fields of production and management sciences, and that the themes of productivity and quality have emerged as prominent research topics within the context of digital transformation. This research aims to present the current state of the literature on Industry 4.0 in relation to quality and productivity and may serve as a guide for future studies. Additionally, it can provide valuable insights into the key issues that should be considered in the strategic decision-making processes of businesses regarding digital transformation.
