Abstract (EN)

The efficient use of β - glucanase in the feed industry will lead to a higher level of animal feed efficiency. It has been reported that after the addition of β - glucanase enzyme to the animal feed, the yield of the products to be obtained from these animals will increase proportionally. Due to the economic importance of the livestock sector in our country, β - glucanase has a great role in the idea of producing recombinant DNA technology. In this study, codon optimization was performed for the nucleotide sequence encoding β - glucanase enzyme (E.coli) to be produced in the bacterial expression system and cloning was performed on pTOLT and pET22b vector systems. Recombinant plasmids (pTOLT-β-glucanase and pET22b-β-glucanase) were transformed into Origami cells and protein was produced. Quantitative analysis of the recombinant enzyme was performed and the activity test of the purified enzyme was found to be active. As a result, β - glucanase enzyme obtained as pure product has been found to be commercially available and it can be benefited from its efficiency increasing feature in the feed industry.
