Abstract (EN)

In this study, the levitation force between superconducting permanent magnet is examined for various physical situations using method of finite elements. Physical situations that are examined: (i) zoom in and zoom out of superconductor to persistent magnet. (ii) rotating of superconductor with constant speed at a distance on magnet. (iii) scrolling of superconductor at a distance on magnet. Calculations are made for different thickness of superconductor and effects of thickness to force is examined. In calculations, critical currentdensinty that is wrapped around in superconductor is used for function of field. However, in calculation of finite elements, current distribution distrubutes in the form of tanh function is assumed. Calculations are made together with AC/DC module that is finite elements sofware and 3.5a that is Comsol MP software. Also, the code has been written in Matlab for calculations. At the end of the calculations, levitation curve that is consistent with experimental data, analitic method and other numerical methods in terms of both shape and scale, is obtained. With the thickness of the superconductor levitation force of the logarithmic changes are detected. In the case where superconductor is rotated around a certain axis, the horizontal component of lateral force of leviatation force changes as sinusoidal, the vertical component is observed as changing as almost parabolic. In the case of scrolling of superconductor at a distance on magnet, the vertical component of the force that act to superconductor is observed to reduce as monotonous with the scroll of, and it is observed to increase after a certain level. In this thesis, with the levitation force, the current distribution in superconductor and the magnetic field distribution of it's surroundings are presented in a detailed format. The studies in this thesis are important in terms of to present physical principles that enables to operate more stable flywhell that is going to be used in energy storage systems. Also, these studies are easier and alternative methods for the calculation of levitation force between superconducting magnet.
