The evaluation of the sura enfal from the perspective of religious education

Human is a social entity. All heavenly religions have tried to establish a social order and brought about the principles of life. Islam is the latest and most perfect religion, which includes these principles. Especially in human relations; It accepts values such as justice, friendship, honesty, self -control, patience, respect, love, responsibility and benevolence from its basic qualities. All of the prophets have tried to organize society and transfer these moral principles to people. In order to realize this, they tried to reach the masses through formal and widespread education. In particular, material and spiritual values were emphasized through education. One of the suras where these principles are most obvious is Surah Enfal. For this reason, the reason why we deal with the Sura of Enfal is that the individual and the nation includes activities about the change, regulation and the functioning of a number of social behavior rules needed for the happiness of the two worlds. In surah, in particular, individuals are generally basic principles for the construction of societies. For this reason, how the apostles, who are also educators, explained the Surah of Enfal, was evaluated in terms of religious education. Our study consists of two parts except the entrance. In the first section, a theoretical framework is drawn. A brief information has been given about the meaning and content of the surah. Some basic concepts related to the sura have been explained. In the second part, the subjects in Surat al-Enfal are discussed in terms of root values in DKAB (4-8th grade) curriculum. All in all; In Surah Enfal, friendship in brotherhood, patience in faith and deeds, patriotism in peace, respect-adults in humanitarian relations, determination and responsibility in trust in trust have been found in a balanced manner.
