Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is aimed to analyse the relationship of sibling attitudes and anxiety levels of individuals with disability siblings. The sample of the study consisted of 110 siblings of the 9-12 age group of children with learning disabilities in the Rehabilitation Centres in Iğdır, Turkey. The data has been collected via 'Attitude and Care Level toward Disable Sibling Scale' (ACLDSS) and 'Stability Durability Care Inventory' (SDCI) questionnaires and analysed on SPSS 23 software package. T-test and ANOVA and correlation tests were used on the data. According to ACLDSS, the education level of mothers doesn't have substantial impact meanwhile the education level of fathers has. According SDCI analyses, gender, alive or deceased parents, and employee status of fathers don't have any meaningful impact on it. However, in the research, the level of care and number of siblings have statistically significant relation. In addition, based on SDCI, there is no statistically significant difference relation on the income level of parents and employee status of the father. Moreover, there is negative relationship between ACLDSS and SDCI. Keywords: disability sibling, siblings attitudes, anxiety levels.
