Integrated quality management systems ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001

Quality Management System, ISO 9001, which is applied by many companies in the world and in Turkey at present aims at providing Customer Satisfaction by meeting their expectations or beyond their expectations by helping the companies to create differences with their services and products. It is an obvious fact that the conditions enabling the continuity of the business and environmental dimensions of the product are mostly neglected when providing the products and services. The importance of the Quality Management Systems for the customer and market increases every other day, and the environment,customer and employee oriented approach of the companies enable them to lead a healthy lifetime under every condition. In this study, Quality and Quality Management System is explained in the introduction and second section. In section 3, the demands of European Union from the governments and companies and EU?s environmental policies are studied. Especially, EU?s environmental policies, Environment Management System Approach and the factors of Environment Management Systems are studied. In section 4, Quality Management Systems are studied in general and operational summary and the benefits for the companies are studied. In section 5, the prerequisities of Occupational Health and Safety to form Integrated Quality System are stated. It is also stated how companies can put those standarts into practise and the necessary conditions are expressed and Inter-Systems Management harmony when Integrated Quality Management System is set up. In section six, the application of Quality Management System by Ulasim A.S., a member of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and carrying passengers via rail system, their Works, documentation and certification process is stated.
