11 A DIRECTION FOR RESTITUTIN OF JUME MOSQUE OF ARDABIL (M.Sc. Thesis) Sonia RASOULVAND DIZAJ GAZI UNIVERITY INSTITUE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY June 2003 ABSTRACT The subject of this study is to provide the information for protection and restoration of Cuma Mesjit which is located in Erdebil, notrh-eastof Iran, by authenticating its importance in architecture history. Method and the other studies about the subject is mentioned in the indroduction and the second section. The history and the present status of the building is mentioned in the third section. In the fourth section, detailed definition of the building and information about its fixation works are given.The fifth section is about comparing studies which have been done about the building. The sixth section includes restutition work which shows Erdebil Cuma Mesjit's status in Seljuk era. Discussion and advise for protection of the building are presented in the seventh and the last section.
