This study was conducted to examine the effects of tabata and plyometric training on some physical and performance parameters in male swimmers. The population of the study consists of 67 licensed male athletes doing swimming sports in Van province, and the sample consists of 30 licensed male athletes aged 13-14. The participants had G Power analysis performed and were randomly divided into three groups: control (n:10), tabata training (n:10) and plyometric training (n:10). While the control group participants continued their routine swimming training, the participants in the tabata and plyometric training group had tabata and plyometric training 2 days a week for 8 weeks, in addition to their swimming training. The participants' body weight, height measurement, body mass index, start, return, 50-meter free swimming and 100-meter free swimming times were measured before and after the study. Study data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 package program. A statistically significant result was observed between the height measurement A statistically significant result was observed between the height, turn (5m), start (15m), 50 m and 100 m free swimming measurements of the Tabata, plyometric training group and control group participants (p<0.05). The body mass index of the control group participants was higher than the tabata and plyometric training group participants. There was no statistically significant result in the average body weight of the Tabata, plyometric training group and control group participants (p>0.05). Tabata and plyometric training, athletes' swimming It seems that their speed has improved. Keywords: swimming, tabata training, plyometric training, performance, land training.
