Abstract (EN)

Object: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between gender attitudes and violence behaviors towards women among men and determinants. Materials and Methods: The Research is intented by choose section. The sample size was randomly determined from the Family Medicine System (NBYS) as 187. While evaluating the data of the study, chi square statistical analysis was applied to evaluate the relationship between the independent variables and violence in the monadic analysis of the definer statistical and qualitative data. Results: The participants age distribution was 47.10 ± 16.82 (years), education level was %63,1 in high school and above, ratio of working people was 66.3% Lifetime; economic violence rate was %28,3, emotional violence rate was %70,6 physical violence rate was %61,5, sexual violence rate was %8,6. In last 1 year; economic violence rate was %22,5, emotional violence rate was %62 physical violence rate was %57,8 and sexual violence rate was %7,5. In the study, in multiple analyzes, it was determined that economic situation and gender perceptions affect violence application situation. Conclusion: The first important finding of the study is the high rate of violence. The second important finding is that as the value of gender equality parameter increases, violence against women decreases.
