Abstract (EN)
Kahramanmaraş, located in the Adana Division of the Mediterranean Region, is a rapidly growing and developing city. Due to the special location of the city, the industrial areas are mostly concentrated in the region where the rivers are located. Leaving domestic and industrial wastes to rivers causes excessive pollution in rivers. In this study, some physicochemical parameters (temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, electrical conductivity) and some heavy metals (iron, copper, zinc, chromium, cadmium, cobalt, nickel and lead) accumulation in the wastewater of the determined factories were determined by using the Erkenez Stream (Kahramanmaraş) It is aimed to investigate the effect on water quality. Four water samples were taken between July 2012 and April 2013 in seasonal periods at seven different stations determined in various regions of Erkenez Stream. Physical parameters were measured by pH meter and oxygen meter, heavy metal analysis by ICP device. The average temperature values of the drinking water samples are between 7,5-24,7 ° C, the average pH values are between 3,63-5,9, the centering oxygen values are between 3,63-5,9 mg / L and the average electrical conductivity values are 595 Measured between 240 μS/cm. Fe, Cu , Zn, Cr, Ni and Cd from heavy metals measured in water were detected in 4., 5., 6. and 7. stations in all seasons, while no heavy metal could be detected at stations 1, 2 and 3. As and Hg can not be determined in all seasons because they are below the sensitivity of the device.
