Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a significant relationship between the attachment relationships which has been formed during the early childhood of a homosexual adult and the levels of depression. This study's context is formed with the members of the İstanbul LGBT solidarity Association. This study's sample consisted of 200 individuals who are members of the İstanbul LGBT solidarity Association. Sociodemographic Verse Form, Relationship Scales Questionnaire, Beck Depression İnventory that were prepared by the researchers in order to gather data were applied to the participants. İt can be seen that the depression scale scores and secure attachment scale have a significant relationship. It is detected that when the depression levels were high, secure attachment levels decreased. There was a significant difference in terms of secure attachment scales between the birth order and educational levels of fathers. It was also detected that there was a relationship between the attitudes which people perceived and learned from their mothers and the obssessive attachment styles. In our study,the data which were gathered from the participants were discussed in the light of literature and necessary suggestions had been made. Key Words : Homosexualism, Attachment, Depression.
