Abstract (EN)

The vocabulary of a language reflects the culture of the society that speaks that language. It provides clues about the food and beverage culture, economy, and lifestyle. Changes in the social structure throughout history are closely related to the tools and equipment used by that society. By looking at these, the life of the society can be traced throughout history. This study aims to examine the culture of the Old Anatolian Turkish period and especially the language data related to its daily life. The names of the items recorded in the works of the period were determined and their structures were tried to be examined in outline. The determined names of the items were also classified and given according to their areas of use. Thus, cultural traces of the daily life of the people in Anatolia between the 13th and 15th centuries will be followed through words. We can follow which items made their lives easier, which items were used less frequently or more frequently. We can even determine whether they used that item in Central Asia or whether they learned it from a society. When all the items mentioned in the works written in the Old Anatolian Turkish period are found and examined, it is seen that it is much more comprehensive than a thesis topic. For this reason, a limitation has emerged in the number of items to be studied. The items that would remain within these boundaries had to be both integral and not previously studied or studied less. As a result of the evaluation, it was seen that the items used in daily life were integral and that although there were independent studies on the subject, they were not studied as a whole. We limited our study to items used in daily life only. Keywords: Old Anatolian Turkish, Names of Items, Turkish Language, Turkish Culture, Linguistics.
