Abstract (EN)

The study was carried out with a total of 24 bread wheat genotypes including 20 advanced lines developed by EskişehirGeçitKuşağı Agricultural Research Institute and 4 standard varieties with soft grain structure as a randomized block design with 4 replications during 2014-2015 growing season in Hamidiye and Karabayır locations of Eskişehir province. The averages of grain yield, days to heading, plant height and thousand grain weight of the bisquit wheats examined ranged from 200,0kg da-1to 442,5kg da-1, 138,75 days to 143,00 days, 83,96 cmto 110,10 cm and 32,67 to 48,61 g, respectively.Test weight, grain hardness, C-SDS values, protein ratio, zeleny sedimentation value, ash ratio, lactic acid SRC, sucrose SRC, sodium carbonate SRC and water SRC averages of the biscuit wheat genotypes used ranged between 82,40 kg hl-1 to 75,25 kg hl-1, 17,08% to 39,68%, 5,06 mlto 8,63 ml, 11,75% to 12,75%, 20,63 ml to 33,00 ml, 0,478% to 0,610%, 86,68%to 112,83%, 79,95%to 89,29%, 79,52%to 94,83%and 58,18%to 65,14%, respectively.Inthelight of theevaluation of yieldandqualitycharacteristics, BIS-1, BIS-2, BIS-3, BIS-17, BIS-18, BIS-19, BIS-22 and BIS-23 werefoundto be highperformancelinescomparedtootherbiscuitlines. Itwasconcludedthattheselinescould be considered as a candidate of bisquitvarietyand sent fortheformalregistrationprocess.
