Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of the study aiming to determine the prevalence and density of plant parasitic nematodes (BPN) in vegetable production areas of Eskişehir province, 74 soil and plant samples were taken to represent the vegetable production areas and crop diversity of Eskişehir province with irregular emergence in May-October in 2023. As a result of the study, the genera Amplimerlinius, Basiria, Boleodorus, Ditylenchus, Filenchus, Helicotylenchus, Meloidogyne Merlinius, Pratylenchoides, Pratylenchus, Quinisulcius, Scutylenchus, Trophurus, Tylenchorhynchus, Tylenchus, and Zygotylenchus were determined under Tylenchina suborder of Rhabditida order. The most common genera were Ditylenchus, Pratylenchus and Merlinius with 51,35%; 47,3%; and 29,7%, respectively. In terms of density, Meloidogyne spp., Ditylenchus spp. and Pratylenchus spp. were the most abundant nematode groups with 834,7; 67;4, and 53,2 nematodes 100 g-1 soil, respectively. As a result of the identification studies, 19 species belonging to 6 families, 8 subfamilies and 11 genera in the order Rhabditida were identified. Pratylenchus thornei, Meloidogyne incognita, Fylenchus filiformis and Zygotylenchus guevarai were the most common plant parasitic nematode species with absolute prevalence rates of 13,2%; 9,9%; 9,9%; and 8,2%, respectively. In addition, Meloidogyne incognita, one of the root-knot nematodes detected in this study, has not been recorded in parsley in Turkey and it was concluded that it was detected for the first time in this study.
