Abstract (EN)
Heat resistant Aspergillus members are not affected by the heat treatments (for 30 minutes at 75 ° C) thanks to the sexual reproduction structures called as ascospor, they continue to develop in products during storage and cause deterioration. Heat resistant microfungi can alter the biochemical properties of the products and cause great economic losses. Members of the genus Aspergillus are one of the most common heat resistant microfungi. The main source of contamination of these organisms is soil. In this thesis, the biodiversity of members of the heat resistant Aspergillus genus was investigated in agricultural soils in Eskişehir province. For this purpose, four different soil samples were collected from fallow lands in east, west, north and south locations of Eskisehir Province. Isolation process was performed by using heat treatment of soil samples and the soil dilution method. After purification step, isolates were diagnosed by using conventional methods and multi locus gene sequencing. A total of 19 isolates of heat resistant Aspergillus were identified.
