Abstract (EN)

In this study, composite polymers were synthesized as thermally by radical addition polymerization in the any mold both containing ceramic particles and can be thermoformed. In addition, anti-bacterial, UV degradation resist, flame retardant, easy to clean and colorful, phosphorescence and thermochromic properties were provide in the composite polymers. 10 µm, 3 µm and 2 µm SiO2 and 1,4 µm, 0,7 µm and 0,5 µm SiC, which surfaces of the ceramic particle were modified, were used as fillers, MMA, HEMA, HPMA as the monomethacrylate and EGDMA, DEGDMA, TEGDMA, TeEGDMA ve DUDMA as the crosslinkers were used. The structure of the surface modification of ceramic particles was investigated using FT-IR and elemental analysis. The synthesized organic / composite polymers were determined by micro-hardness Vickers method, structures of the synthesized polymers was investigated using FT-IR, TGA for the thermal behavior, DSC for determination of the glass transition temperature, the particle size distribution in the polymer matrix were characterized SEM-EDX, and the flexural strength was examined by three points bending tests. Composite polymer samples were thermoformed by vacuum thermoforming apparatus, which developed for this thesis. Anti-bacterial activity, easy-to-clean properties, flame-retardant properties were determined according to JIS Z 2801, ISO 10545-14, DIN 4102 respectively, UV-resistant properties was determined before and after irradiation by analyzing colar index. Colorful, thermochromics, phosphoresans composite polymers were prepared for decorative application.
