Abstract (EN)
The most used area of pre-engineered reinforced concrete construction systems is industrial buildings. Industrial buildings are structures with high costs both in terms of establishment/construction stages and in terms of machinery and equipment. Considering that these structures are a source of national wealth and employment, we encounter the necessity of these structures to be resistant to disasters and to have continuous production In this context, pre-engineered reinforced concrete skeleton systems used in industrial buildings are examined in this study. A literature analysis on the historical development, advantages, disadvantages, connection details and construction processes of these structures is presented. In addition, the rules determined for pre engineered reinforced concrete skeleton systems in the earthquake regulations applied to date have been examined. In this context, Düzce Anatolian Bearing Factory, located in the earthquake zone, was chosen as the field study. The earthquake performance of the building, which is an example of pre-engineered reinforced concrete skeleton systems used in industrial buildings, has been evaluated and the behavior of the connection details has been interpreted.
