Abstract (EN)

Sagas, religious legends, in which the miracles of people who are accepted as saints are told, are important and can be affected by the people. Anatolian geography is rich for these species. There are saints who have mausoleums in Anatolia. There are many legends told around these shrines. Mankind has established a close relationship with animals since the first period of history. The same is true for Turks. As a result of the bond that Anatolian people have established, they have included animals in their daily lives, folklore products, beliefs and narratives. Miracle is one of the biggest beliefs of saints. One of the best important miracles of saints is the miracles that appear on animals. Animal Symbolism in the narratives of Islamic Saints is tried to be examined and brought together in this thesis, and miracles occurring on animals, within the motif of miracles.
