Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine in detail the factors that affect the online shopping behaviors of female consumers working in the private sector. In this sense, the fundamental question of the research is arranged as factors affecting the shopping behaviors of the female customers working in the private sector. Every minute of the day, millions of people use internet. These people are potential consumers for the online market. Since many suppliers are in the world and businesses compete, businesses need to know what their customers need and what they want. In the second part of the study, the factors affecting online shopping behaviors of female consumers working in the private sector were examined in three subheadings as consumer related factors, psychological factors and web site related factors. Customer behavior is influenced by many different factors. These factors are; security, price, wide product choice, easy return, time saving and so on. These factors show the differences in customer behavior. In the last part of the study, the findings of the statistical analysis on the questionnaire application included. Since this study was a study which studying online customer behaviors, survey questions were prepared online and online data collection method preferred. The questionnaire link has been sent between September 1, 2017 and November 30, 2017. 390 people answered the questionnaire Outputs of this study can be used to develop specific marketing strategies for each selected customer group in the e-commerce retail industry. It will also contribute to the companies that want to enter the online market in Turkey and for companies which already existing in the market to protect the loyalty of their customers and to develop marketing strategies for women.
