Abstract (EN)
In this study, considering the Wear Layer Type-2 design system, polishing strengths of hot mixtures prepared with different bitumen ratios of different binders and aggregates were compared. Polishing test was applied to bituminous hot mixtures prepared by combining 5%, 5,5% and 6% of B70 / 100 and B160 / 220 bituminous binders with limestone, basalt and stream aggregates. The two surfaces of the prepared bituminous mixtures were subjected to 3 times wet and dry polishing test and average polishing performance was reached. When all the test results were evaluated, It has been identified, it was found that the hot mixture prepared by using B70 / 100 bitumen and basalt aggregate at the rate of 6% as dry polishing performance had the highest wet polishing performance and the highest polishing performance of the hot mixture prepared by using B160 / 220 bitumen and stream aggregate at the rate of 5.5%.
