Abstract (EN)

In this study, vic-dioxime ligands (A, C) and their metal complexes (A1-5, B1-9, and C1-9) were prepared in three groups. In the first group, new vic-dioxime ligand (A) and its complexes (A1-5) with Cu(II), Ni(II), Ti(IV), VO(IV) and Zn(II) salts were prepared. The structures of vic-dioxime ligand (A) and metal complexes (A1-5) were characterized using NMR (1H and 13C), LC-MS/MS spectrometry, FT-IR spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, melting point, elemental analysis, and magnetic susceptibility measurements. Vic-dioxime ligand (L1H2) (A) and metal complexes ([Cu(L1H)2] (A1), [Ni(L1H)2] (A2), [Ti(L1H)2]Cl2 (A3), [VO(L1H)2] (A4), and [Zn(L1H)2] (A5)) were tested for their antibacterial and antioxidant activities, respectively. In the second group, new neutral cobaloximes (B1-3) and their corresponding different cobaloxime-based (double and single) complex salts (B4-9) were prepared. The synthesized cobaloxime complexes (B1-9) were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, FT-IR spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, LC-MS/MS spectrometry, melting point and elemental analysis techniques. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for the first time as a catalyst for the synthesis of cyclic carbonates using epoxide and CO2 without using any organic and inorganic solvents under suitable conditions. All synthesized cobaloxime complexes (B1-9) showed high catalytic activity (at 100 °C and 1.6 MPa CO2 pressure) for the carboxylation of epichlorohydrin. In the third group, new neutral cobaloximes (B1-3) and double cobaloxime salts (B4-6) and their simple ionic single salts (B7-9) were prepared. The structure of the synthesized target cobaloximes was characterized using a combination of 1H, 13C and 11B NMR spectra, FT-IR spectra, UV-Vis spectra, LC-MS/MS spectrometers, melting point and elemental analysis techniques. The efficiency of these cobaloximes (B1-9), whose structures are explained in detail, as efficient and green catalysts in the reactions of obtaining five-membered organic carbonates from CO2 and epoxides was investigated. After determining the high catalytic conversion and selectivity of all synthesized cobaloxime compounds (B1-9), the effects of parameters such as epoxide, base, reaction time, temperature and CO2 pressure of these catalysts on the catalytic conversion were investigated.
