Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to investigate the effect of different training methods on forehand-backhand stroke speed and some selected motoric properties. A total of 40 female tennis players participated in the study between the ages of 10-14, core training group (n = 10), control group (n = 10), plyometric training group (n = 10) and resistance band training group (n = 10). . Participants were mutually balanced and divided into groups according to their age. While the control group continued their normal trainings, in addition to training in the experimental group, 8 weeks, 3 days a week, 2-3 sets of core (2 sets), plyometric (2 sets) and resistance tire (3 sets) training was made. SPSS 17.0 package program was used to analyze the data. The data obtained from the normality-homogeneity test showed that the data showed a normal distribution and Paired-sample T test was Applied for the parametric tests. Data were evaluated at the level of (p <0.05). As a result of the analysis; It was determined that some motoric properties of core, plyometric and resistance tire training group were statistically significant in female tennis players participating in the study (p <0,05). Changes in the pre-test and post-test values were observed and a statistically significant result was obtained (p <0.05). In our study, we have seen the effect core, plyometric and resistance tire training on tennis, forehand- backhand stroke speeds and some selected motoric properties, and we hope that these data will shed light on further studies.
