Abstract (EN)
This research was carried out on the condition of determining the effect of different sizes of cotton meal applications on the growth of corn plant grown in pots under greenhouse conditions. For this purpose, cotton meal was carried out at dose of 4000 kg da-1 in three replications (Control, 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm) under greenhouse conditions in the experimental area of the Faculty of Agriculture of Harran University. Pioneer P0900 corn type was used as plant material. As a results of cotton meal applications in different sizes and corn plant growth parameters, plant heights and biomass weights showed beter growth in the soils treated with meal compared to the control group. According to the results of the anlysis, significant increases were achieved in the intake of plant nutrients such as N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, B. In this context, when all the data are examined, the application that shows the effect of cotton meal application the most was 1 mm in size.
