Abstract (EN)
In this study, extractions of propolis obtained from Samsun province in ethanol and ethyl acetate were carried out. Total phenolic and flavonoid amounts were determined. Cell culture studies were carried out and their anticancer and antimicrobial activities were examined. Wound healing tests were also performed. Total phenol and total flavonoid analyzes of propolis extracts were made. Total phenol and total flavone for propolis ethanol extract were found to be 156 mg GAEeq/g and 44.8 mg QUEeq/g, respectively. Total phenol and total flavone for Propolis Ethyl acetate extract were 204.8 mg GAEeq/g and 55 mg QUEeq/g, respectively. According to the results of the cytotoxicity test, the samples obtained from cancer and normal cells by different methods showed toxicity especially at the first rates and at 2 rates, while the toxicity decreased after ¼ rate. According to the apoptosis/necrosis results, it is seen that the first two rates in fibroblast and cancer cells are high in terms of apoptosis and necrosis. In addition, it is seen that the death rate with necrosis is higher than apoptosis in cancer cells. According to the in vitro wound healing study, the powder did not show much increase in the capacity of filling the gap and cell migration capacity in L929 cells of test samples 1, 2 and 3 compared to the control group. In the study, it was not observed that any cells migrated to the prepared wound area. There is no cell migration, which is called Cell Migration, and it has been determined that the percentage of wound closed occurs from the wound area shores. According to the antimicrobial activity test results, while the samples showed normal antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli (E. coli - ATCC 25922), it was determined that they showed high antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus ATCC 25923).
