Abstract (EN)

Alloys have an important place in the development of technology as they have various physical properties. It is important to know the radiation absorption parameters of the alloys in order to benefit from the development of applications where alloys are used. In this study, some absorption parameters (mass attenuation coefficient, atomic and electronic cross sections, effective atomic number, electron density) of MoxCu1-x (x=0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 and 0.7) alloys of different concentrations was calculated using a HpGe semiconductor solid-state detector in the 59.54-661.62 keV energy range experimentally. In addition, theoretical mass attenuation coefficients have been calculated by means of mixture rule from the WinXCOM program. Other absorption parameters were obtained theoretically by using the obtained theoretical mass attenuation coefficients.
